Sort Hindi nouns by their grammatical gender!

Hindi nouns are either masculine (पुल्लिंग) or feminine (स्त्रीलिंग). Can you sort them correctly?

How to Play

  1. A Hindi noun appears in the centre
  2. Decide if it is masculine (पुल्लिंग) or feminine (स्त्रीलिंग)
  3. Tap the blue zone for masculine or the pink zone for feminine
  4. Learn the patterns — words ending in -\u093E are often masculine, -\u0940 often feminine!

Quick tip:

Words ending in -ा (aa) are often masculine (like कमरा room, केला banana). Words ending in -ी (ee) are often feminine (like कुर्सी chair, नदी river). But there are many exceptions!
